KasirFlow POS + Warehouse

KasirFlow is a product-grade POS and warehouse management SaaS prototype for Indonesian F&B operators. It models the workflows a real cafe, cloud kitchen, or multi-outlet restaurant would need: multi-tenant outlet control, fast cashier checkout, dine-in and delivery channel pricing, ingredient-level stock deduction, stock opname, cashier shift reconciliation, platform commission reports, thermal receipt output, and role-based access.

This portfolio entry is written as a realistic product case study. The UI mockups are generated as consistent product screenshots, the feature set is scoped around real restaurant operations, and the implementation notes describe how the platform could be built into a production multi-tenant POS system.

Product Scope

Built like a real multi-outlet POS SaaS.

KasirFlow is framed around the operating model a serious F&B product would need before engineering starts: tenants, outlets, scoped users, device workflows, and roll-up reporting.

Target users

Owner, Admin, Cashier, Kitchen

Business model

Prototype Metrics

Evidence that the concept is scoped, not decorative.

These are portfolio proof points for the mock product: enough breadth to look real, but still bounded enough to be implemented cleanly later.

Architecture

A production path for the POS platform.

PWA Clients

Owner dashboard, admin console, tablet cashier, and offline transaction queue.

Tenant API

Auth, outlet isolation, RBAC, stock engine, COGS calculation, and shift cron jobs.

Data & Devices

MongoDB records, audit logs, receipt templates, Bluetooth/USB printers, and WhatsApp reports.

Outlet-scoped permissions prevent cashiers from seeing owner financial data.

Receipts support preview, thermal printing, and digital delivery.

Tenant reports roll up branch activity without losing outlet-level history.

Build Notes

01

Validated concept name

  • Selected name: KasirFlow
  • Exact-match web checks for KasirFlow did not show an obvious active product/company collision during validation on May 11, 2026
  • DNS check for kasirflow.com returned no record in this local check

02

Selling channels

  • Dine-in
  • Take Away
  • GoFood
  • GrabFood
  • ShopeeFood
  • MaximFood
  • Foodspot
  • Manual Delivery
  • Custom in-house delivery with custom logo, name, and price

03

Core modules

  • Menu CRUD with recipe ingredients, per-channel pricing, COGS, margin, and active toggles
  • Ingredient warehouse with unit conversion, stock opname, restock, threshold alerts, and full history
  • Cashier transactions with split bill, discounts, vouchers, payment methods, queue tags, and shift tags
  • Shift start/end with expected vs actual cash and midnight force-close cron
  • Financial reports with commission tracking, net revenue, purchases, and P&L
  • Role access for Owner, Admin, and Cashier
  • Receipt printing for Bluetooth, USB, preview, WhatsApp, and email
  • PWA/offline support for mobile, desktop, and tablet

04

Multi-tenant and multi-store model

  • Tenant: the business account that owns billing, plan limits, users, and global settings
  • Outlet: a branch under the tenant with its own cashier devices, stock, shifts, receipts, taxes, and reports
  • Users can be scoped globally or assigned only to selected outlets
  • Menus can be synced from the tenant level but overridden per outlet when pricing or availability differs
  • Reports roll up from outlet to tenant while preserving outlet-level audit history

05

Prototype evidence pack

  • 9 rendered product screenshots: owner dashboard, multi-outlet control, cashier terminal, menu CRUD, ingredient stock, shift report, channel report, receipt preview, and role management
  • Screens use one consistent KasirFlow visual system instead of generic placeholders
  • The screenshots are generated deterministically from HTML/CSS so future edits stay aligned and reproducible
  • Sample data uses Indonesian F&B scenarios, Rupiah pricing, delivery channels, and restaurant operations

06

Operational assumptions

  • One account can own multiple outlets
  • Every transaction belongs to one outlet, cashier, shift, channel, and payment method
  • Menu prices can differ by channel because delivery platforms may require commission markup
  • Recipe ingredients decrease automatically after successful sales
  • Stock opname and user permission changes are tracked in an audit log
  • Active shifts can be force-closed by a midnight cron job when cashiers forget to close manually

07

Implementation order

  • Phase 1: UI/UX mockups and portfolio proof
  • Phase 2: Auth, roles, tenant and outlet model
  • Phase 3: Menu CRUD, channel pricing, ingredients, and recipe COGS
  • Phase 4: Warehouse stock opname and restock
  • Phase 5: Cashier transaction and payment channels
  • Phase 6: Shift management and cron close
  • Phase 7: Financial reports and COGS
  • Phase 8: Receipt printing
  • Phase 9: PWA and desktop wrapper
  • Phase 10: QR order, KDS, loyalty, promos, exports, and WhatsApp reports
